This company was founded after long nights of thinking about businesses. All I thought about were ideas, ideas, ideas. And finally, after reading a book, (Miss Happiness and Miss Flower, by Rumer Godden) it came to me. Every time you blow on a dandelion, throw a penny in a fountain, or blow out a candle, you make a wish. And Japan knows just how to celebrate that - with the Wish Festival, or Tanabata. So I said why not and started Tsukuru Balloons, a company honoring the traditions of the Wish Festival and the beautiful, fragile thing that is a wish. Everyone has a wish, and I try to put wishes and happiness into every balloon I make.
May all your wishes come true.
